The erect sword-like leaves are topped with triangular, sky-blue flowers, which open daily in succession throughout summer. On the ends of the flower stalks, plantlets grow. As they get too heavy, they drop to the ground where they take root (hence its common name - the Walking Iris). Grows to approx 1.5mtr.
