Also known as the Walking Iris, it is a semi-evergreen with rhizomatous rootstock. It has lovely white and blue Iris-like flowers and similar spear shaped leaves of the Iris family, of which it is related. On the ends of the flower stalks, plantlets grow. As they get too heavy, they drop to the ground where they take root (hence its common name - the Walking Iris). Grows to approx 80cm - 1 mtr.
