For many years this evergreen shrubs botanical name was Beloperone guttata 'lutea', it is now known as Justicia brandegeeana 'lutea' or the Shrimp Plant. It gets its name the Shrimp plant because of its drooping shrimp-like flower spikes. The flowers are white extending from yellow-greeny bracts. It doesn't like hard frosts. It is also a wonderful house plant. An evergreen perennial shrub, it grows to approx 1mtr.
