Jasione laevis (Shepherd’s Scabious)

Jasione laevis, also known as Shepherd’s Scabious, has green-grey leaves with balls of violet-blue flowers which look similar to a Scabious or Pincushion flower. With a long flowering season, it is great for rockeries, borders or edging. A lovely but unusual cut flower. Prefers full sun. Grows to approx 25 - 30cm.
