Also known as Hydrangea 'Bloody Marvellous' and 'Raspberry Crush', it is a deciduous shrub with chocolate/green foliage and stunning flower heads which change from blood red to purple-wine with age. An older variety of the Hydrangea family. Prune back to double bud after flowering has finished to keep tidy. Prefers full sun to partial shade. Grows to approx 1.5 mtrs.
