Cuphea 'Starfire' (Firecracker Plant and Mexican Cigar Plant)

A tender perennial that is often grown as an annual or houseplant in the cooler climates. It has small purply/pink tubular flowers and flower all year round giving colour throughout the year to your garden. Though often said to be frost tender, we find these are relatively frost hardy in our Waikato garden. Grows to approx 1-1.2mtrs.
